What is your privacy policy and how do you deal with personal information?
SmarterQuotes takes consumer privacy very seriously. Because we often times deal with product/service quotes that require a fair amount of personal information we've taken a number of measures to ensure that information provided by consumers is safe and secure and is only used for generating product and service quotes. How do I unsubscribe?
SmarterQuotes makes it simple and painless to unsubscribe from our recurring email newsletter(s). At the bottom of each promotional email you receive from us there is a one-click means of removal and/or a link to your profile manager that allows you to manage your email preferences. If you're experiencing any problems, feel free to seek help in our
support area.

Profile Manager
a. What exactly is this profile manager and how does it benefit me?
The profile manager is a new, personalized system whereby you the consumer can take charge of your email preferences, manage your account information, initiate support requests, track your list rewards status, redeem prizes, and much more. Our goal is to make our email newsletter services as user friendly as possible, and the profile manager will help to accomplish that goal.

b. Can I update my account info?
The SQ Profile Manager allows you to manage a number of aspects of your account: subscription information, contact information, additional information, and password reset. Within each subsection you can view the current info on file and/or modify the current info.

c. Why should I include my personal information in my profile?
Though including personal information is not required, we do encourage members to provide as much information as they're comfortable with (please review our privacy policy for detailed info in regards to our privacy practices) as it will help us to provide highly targeted and relevant offers.

d. How do I change my email preferences?
Your email preferences can be viewed and modified within the Profile Manager as well. Here you can update your email frequency, change your preferred email account, and select the format of your email (e.g. - html, text only).

List Rewards Program
a. What is the list rewards program?
The SmarterQuotes List Rewards program is an exciting new benefit of our email newsletter services that rewards you the consumer for being a loyal SmarterQuotes member. Currently the program consists of a $10,000 cash giveaway (one drawing per quarter), as well as some great monthly drawings and much more on the way. For more information about the program and current giveaways, please visit our List Rewards section in your Profile Manager.

b. How do I become involved in the list reward program?
As a SmarterQuotes member you are already part of our List Rewards program. The longer you remain a member of our program, the more rewards you're eligible to receive and the greater your odds are for winning our monthly and quarterly prizes.

c. How can I increase my odds of winning?
We reward members based on the amount of emails they're willing to receive and view. The more you receive, the more entries you accumulate. And of course the more entries you have the better your odds of winning. To ensure you receive the maximum amount of targeted emails, ensure that your email frequency preferences in your Profile Manager are set to "send me all targeted offers".

Why am I not receiving all of your emails? And why can't I see the images??
You may not be receiving all of our financial newsletters --and more importantly, our member Services Alerts and List Reward announcements-- because you have yet to add SmarterQuotes to your address book. Make sure you do so, so that you stay up-to-date on the latest financial and insurance products, as well as news about our latest giveaways and winner announcements. I'm having problems submitting my info to get a quote. Help!
At SmarterQuotes, we try to ensure 100% uptime, but from time to time you might run into an issue submitting a form for a product or service quote if we are in the midst of updating our system. If you do run into problems, feel free to visit our
General Support page or try submitting your information again at a later time.

How exactly did I become SQ member?
SmarterQuotes works with a number of large financial institutions and affiliate partners whereby we manage email lists on their behalf. More than likely you've filled out a form requesting a product/service sometime in the recent past, and when doing so also became a SmarterQuotes member.
